The Williamsons: ย Dominick is making the same transition that Gracie made last year โ in that he has jumped to middle school.ย So, now I have 2 kids that I bring to school on my way to work in the morning.ย
Dominick was anticipating playing modified soccer in the fall โ but there were not enough students to form a team.ย He ended up playing with the JV team, which was good for him. ย However, he did not get as much playing time as he would have with a modified team.ย
Gracie had an absolutely great year with X-Country!ย She finished in first place for several of her races & finished 4th in the STAC meet (Southern Tier Athletic Conference).ย She also was the captain of the modified X-Country team!
Annie played soccer in the fall too.ย I had a blast in the final โParents versus Kidsโ game with Annieโs team & even scored a goal! (Parents won!)
Sophie actually played soccer this fall.ย In the past she did little more than serve as the team mascot โ or lawn gnome โ just standing on the field.ย This year she was a force to be reckoned with!
In September my grandmother turned 101!ย Wow! Just amazing!

In October we ventured out to Cooperstown for a day.ย It was a place that was on our summer vacation list that we just didnโt make it to.ย It was a beautiful way to spend a nice autumn day.

Gracie, Dominick, Annie & I also helped the charity โRise Against Hungerโ in October through our church.ย It was fun to volunteer with the kids & do a little assembly line work in packaging the meals.
Finally, Sophie is really proving to have a LOT of personality & a strong sense of humor. We were wrestling one day & she really made us laugh.ย I had her pinned & she spontaneously remarked โ โDonโt try this at home, kids!โ.ย
Sincerely,

It sounds like the year is off to a great start! How amazing that your grandmother is a 101; what an age. <3
